Late post for user watching, but here goes. Actually I was quite content on blogging about it before, to see what exactly could be learned from watching a user, but I was over whelmed by the number of forwarded messages I got.

I started with one random guy, who I can’t remember now, who seemed to dealt with Firefox profiles. I wasn’t getting much information on this projects though, other than forwards for a bug about free t-shirts to extension developers.

So then I switched him out for watching Gijs. Now the bugzilla messages came in a rush haha. I went with Gijs just seeing how he was a nice guy on IRC and helped with building Minefield for the first time.

I can’t so much for the 300 messages I still have saved up in my email folder, that is there’s too much to handle and I’m not going to go into it. But I was surprised at the variety of topics Gijs was involved in. I really had no clue, thinking that he was one of the guys who made Chatzilla. Then he was sometimes mentioned in class throughout the semester. But anyway, this guy was in everything. That’s the interesting part of all this Mozilla stuff is that if you know enough, your not stuck on just Firefox.. they all run on the same backbone technology. So if I caught up with my javascript and C++, maybe I could easily be taking part in multiple applications too. Interesting..

It’s all over now. Really really over over. Especially for me and Peter Evanoff, knowing that this is our last week in our Seneca program. All that’s left is to finalize our version 0.3 for Universal Firefox and post it on our Wiki project page. It’s been a fun ride and like all good rides it hurts to get off at the end. Glad I remembered to bring my camera just before walking out the door that morning! It’s certainly a nice reminder to me in the future, what a great experience this has been. I enjoyed Chris Tyler’s teaching immensely and I really enjoyed learning about open source. I’m graduating this semester, but we Peters are hoping to continue with our project.   The labs Chris and Dave made were exceptional, and really helped us get started with Mozilla projects, opening our eyes to the Bazaar.

Damn, many really nice looking movies coming out soon! I’m gonna watch them all for sure. Take a break from gaming.. or waiting more like waiting for good games to come out. The movies I’m talking about for this summer include: The Forbidden Kingdom, Iron Man, Wall E.

Probably the first one to go will be The Forbidden Kingdom. I showed dad trailer on the flash site and he said it looked promising too. It’s rare that he ever pays full attention to a trailer.. he was even distracted a few times and missed the CG parts -_-’. He did see the release date at the end though and said, “Hey that’s not long from now, very soon we can download it!”. GAH!

Ho, this is the real deal isn’t it?! Zelda the movie trailer sure looks nice, the graphics especially, those monsters look promising haha. I wonder how gamey its going to turn out. Not too gamey I hope! It does sound like Link’s purpose will not be some random occurrence without reason. I hope that younger Zelda will be someone more beautiful also! xD

The part where the gates to the Temple of Time shut looked kinda cheesy. Wah look at his sword charge up! .. is Link gonna say anything here? “When these doors open again, it will be seven years into the past. Find me again.”, “Hey, Excuuuse me princess!”

Ah the fun comes to an end (for now) and the romance will continue forever (, it better!!). After finishing Clannad I’m definitely going to get the visual novel to play! The first few episodes of this series were the best ever, they kept it up as good as they could, and then the story just kinda layered itself many times over.

I’m suddenly watching a bunch of anime episodes here and there, probably not at the best time. I’m working hard at the same time for school, or at least when I don’t feel discouraged when I get stuck on some code. The result of that is.. more anime!!

Episode 12 was nice, I like how it ended. I wasn’t so sure about Belldandy making a full recovery from what Keiichi did, ditching her behind while his heart was binded to the devil’s balance. It was a little too easy, but I guess she is really nice that way ^^;. The missing element on my mind was covered in the following episode 12.5 when they reviewed everything that has happened so far and Keiichi got to properly explain what had happened to him that day.

Now from the original Ah! My Goddess, Skuld makes an official appearance, and sure enough she is staying on Earth. Urd came into the picture too on episode 8. Wow I really got far in the past 2 days didn’t I? (I wonder if anyone is reading, sigh.) Anyway, all these episodes haven’t been as significant as ep 6 and 7. It is indeed getting alot more hectic with random events! -which hasn’t really sparked my interest anymore. I hope something picks up again! So far every episode has been a complete story in itself. With the introduction of a problem and then a conclusion. Now that I’m half way into the first Season.. something big should happen soon right?! Hmm, okay maybe give it a few more episodes after the appearance of Skuld. Other than that though, its still been a pleasant easy and fun to watch anime.

I’m aware I’ve been dreaming alot. Almost every night I have some sort of dream. However I don’t always remember them after I wake up. Sometimes whats left is just an emotional feeling. Then sometimes random events during the day would suddenly trigger my memory.

I dreamt of being in a high school classroom, packed with students from two classes into one room. Together we were watching the films each class made. We were sort of competing I think. Something told me that I had big part in making our film. At the end of watching it, everyone around me was happy and delighted with the work I had done. I think I had a few interesting looks from girls in my class, one which poked me, maybe in a teasing manner. I didn’t recognize any faces though.

Another time I woke up from dreaming and had a great sense of accomplishment. I felt like I had solved a very complex problem, maybe an emotional problem that was bothering someone close to me. Whatever it was, it was resolved. I did good.

Another day I had slept just before dinner and woke up to get it out of the fridge to heat back up. I took the plate out of the microwave and poked at the rice with a fork. Just then I remembered that I dreamed something about making food. I was so sure I got those images not from the nap I just had, but the sleep session before that. A few images flashed in my head, then when I tried to concentrate putting together a timeline it all went away. I could just remember it had something to do with Food. I wasn’t feeling hungry for my dinner at the time either.

Then just yesterday night I dreamt about a cat. It closely resembled Mahmud’s cat. The cat was outside my door crawling around the grass. I’m sure it wasn’t my cat in my dream, it wasn’t as stubborn as Mahmud’s cat either. I invited the cat inside and she waited for me to carry her inside. I thought I really would like my own cat. In my dream I recalled Sunohara’s (Clannad) tame orange cat. I looked for a swallow little dish to put water in. Looking in the drawer, at some randomly disorganized plates I realized I was in a dream. I had some control now, but I decided to just continue on. I took out a dish and put water on it. Looking at the water level I realized it was barely enough to even make a puddle on the floor. I set the dish down anyway and at cat started to lick the water up with much difficulty. I think at that moment, I might have thought how I knew so little about taking care of it.

Hehe weird title. I had noticed this so so familiar voice on the first episode of Clannad and wondered who could it be! There’s just something about how dynamic her voice can be, the different tones in the whole package is just so nice. Yes, It’s a little weird of me to like a particular voice. That doesn’t mean I would rule out others! Haha, what were you thinking. I like Haruhi’s voice too.

Err.. anyway. So I looked up the voice actor for Sagara Misae in Clannad. the voice just hit me again while watching the Extra Chapter, she just had one line, and I felt the need to blog about it. (I’ll blog again later about my thoughts on the last episode of Clannad TV =) ) My ears didn’t lie! I did hear this voice before! It’s the voice of Satsuki Yukino! She did the voice of Kagome in InuYasha, Chidori in Full Metal Panic!, and many many others appearently. I loved those charcaters! And - WAH she did Hutsumi Otohime from Love Hina - I had no idea. Wow.

Then I wondered was Tomoya’s voice the same actor as Kyon. I was so wrong with that one.

Hmm.. I still have to finish watching The Second Raid.

Pleasant story. Clannad is still keeping up with the jokes, I can get enough of it! Other than that, the stories within have been touching. Funny thing is, I only realized now how everyone’s story arc was something about their family. Then Tomoya and Nagi have been a part of them all to set things right. Now its their turn to figure themselves out.

The last part while they were having a baseball game with the children was nice. I have to - have to share this with someone who will feel the same way. It’s so nice..

I think I’ll definitely play through the Clannad Visual Novel slowly, as not to miss a single line of it. As soon as the The Waffle House comes out with a complete translation..

This is a drawing of Kagami from Lucky Star I did over the past Christmas Holiday. During the holiday I searched through a bunch of boxes for old sketch books, some of whihc I’ve bought and abandoned myself a long time ago, some are ones my mother bought randomly from ages ago and never used. I picked this one book to now stick with. It has what looks like a painting of a old French town on the cover. The cover itself is textured like some kind of canvas.

I was too lazy to post my drawing up here at the time and just showed it to friends on MSN. So I’m sorta putting this up now as a response to orangeclover’s recent anime attempt drawing. This was taken with my camera. Hold on actually.. I’ll scan it now. Scanned! I put in the original screenshot from the video as well for those interested. Obivously they’re not doing the same thing nor looking the same direction and head shape is a bit off - I really had to squeeze it into the page there. I was too lazy to put in Konata, maybe another time when I look for her in a better position wearing something nice. I liked Kagami coat in this shot, so derived my own version.

I’d say that clover’s first attempt was really good! Actually now I think about it, I do have the random girl face drawings in some of my note taking in class, whenever I got too bored. They were all variations of Kagame from InuYasha with different hair styles. Usually inspired by someone in the class with that hair. I haven’t tried to draw a guy yet, maybe I will soon. Sometimes I imagine what some of the scenes and characters would look like whenever I did role-playing with Fiona. If I put myself in there, I would definately need to learn how to draw a guy.. not to mention body! Zomg. And an anime robot too.. o_O. Not much to say about Clover’s scan, but it looks like a good start to some amazing drawings later! Haha.

I think this will be good for pushing each other to draw more anime when we have free time. I’ll get to drawing another character from some other anime right after I graduate! You know already it’ll be a girl
