About

My name is Peter. I’m Chinese Born Canadian, living in Toronto. I started blogging just after the summer when for the first time I got more serious about Anime, about wanting to change myself and also to share my random thoughts that would be too random to show up anywhere else on the web other than this random blog. I LOVE ANIME, I easily give any anime I see a chance to be on my list of favorites. I also really love things all east asian, wishing that I was more of one than I am now. There’s no unit of measure to it though. I think endlessly about life, the people around me and what am I going to do in the future. Exploring the thoughts and feelings in my head at every one moment, as if trying to understand the universe. Sometimes in my head I think I say some pretty amazing things. Its just too bad that I would never have some kind of brain log to share it before I forget it. I guess that is part of why this blog is here!

Back in 2004, all I did was play games endlessly on the PC. Actually I kept my own personal journal too, where I wrote endlessly in it. I stopped writing on it now, after realizing that I have to let go of the bad things in the past and just keep all of the good. Life became alot more positive after I left university.

While continuing studies in Computer Programming at Seneca, more and more forms of sharing information became popular. Stuff like Facebook and YouTube are huge. I never liked the idea of signing up to someone else’s service to submit my work to it. However I do like the idea of having something to be able to share with the world, just that that something had to be in my full control.

I’m quite the monkey see monkey do person. When the idea of being in an online team to conquer games and build a community appeared before me, I started Syko Killers. When I found out about Internet Radio, I hosted my own, playing music that I liked. The Internet became more explosively interesting to me as I learned more and more about the technologies involved. Then the idea of pod casting really interested me. It lead me to setup my own Apache server, database and WordPress blog just to see how people shared their recordings. As you can tell, its not enough for me to sign up for MySpace or something. I couldn’t sink that low :).

Today I blog for the fun of it mostly. I like to share with others my great interest in Anime, the weird dreams I have sometimes and other random moments in my life. I’m not aiming to give the latest reviews on shows nor plan to turn this into a book about my life. The fun really comes from blogging with friends. You can make fun of each other, or say things that would probably be too weird to say in real life, but on the net, its ok to lose your cool sometimes.
